Our Cryptocoryne Lucen is ordered from our nursery who grows them emersed. Due to how slow Cryptocoryne Lucen grows, we sell them once we see 2 submerged leaves on the plant. This means that however many emersed leaves are left will probably melt after a few weeks in your tank. With the new submerged growth, the Lucen should be fine.
Cryptocoryne Lucen is a lot like Lutea, except it is smaller and requires a little less light. Cryptocoryne Lucen stands up, as opposed to flopping over horizontally. Depending on the lighting, either the leaves will grow tall towards the light or more horizontal. Cryptocoryne Lucen can be propagated by uprooting the whole plant and plucking baby plants from the side of the main root.
