Cryptocoryne Parva

Our Cryptocoryne Parva is ordered from our nursery who grows them emersed. Due to how slow Cryptocoryne Parva grows, we sell them once we see 2 submerged leaves on the plant. This means that however many emersed leaves are left will probably melt after a few weeks in your tank. With the new submerged growth, the Parva should be fine.

Cryptocoryne Parva is one of the smallest Cryptocoryne species out there. Cryptocoryne Parva requires a bit more light than the typical Crypt. Depending on the lighting, either the leaves will grow tall towards the light or more horizontal. Parva can be propagated by uprooting the whole plant and plucking baby plants from the side of the main root. When you get enough of them you will have a Crypt Parva carpet!
