Return Policy

Plants:

Worried about ordering plants and having them shipped across the country? Well don't, we have a DOA policy that 100% guarantees plants will arrive alive and will be ok.

When it comes to plants, we don't accept returns on them as they would most likely not survive being shipped back to us.

If any plants arrive in poor condition, please take a photo of the plant in its unopened packaging and email us that photo within 6 hours of the plant’s arrival. We will examine the photo to verify if the plant is dead or stressed. In some cases, we may ask you to give the plant a few days to double check on its condition as plants are usually resilient. Please do not throw away any plants until we have a chance to respond, more often then not plants are usually ok.

We will either replace DOA plants, offer substitutes, or refund if it’s something we cannot get again.

All none tissue culture aquarium plants we sell are either grown in our own tanks or come from nursery farms. Because of this we use snails, shrimp, fish, and other means to help keep the plants as free from algae and other possible pests. However, we do our best to remove anything we see prior to shipping but, we cannot guarantee plants you receive will be 100% algae or pest free. If receiving plants with snails, possible algae, or other pests is not something you want please consider ordering only tissue cultures or watch this video on how to effectively clean your aquarium plants. We will not issue a refund for plants because of snails, algae. or other possible hitchhikers.

*If no picture is provided for the plants that may be damaged or DOA, our DOA guarantee is VOID.

Other Goods:

Returns on unopened or unused dry goods are accepted but buyer is responsible for shipping back to us. Please email us first before you send anything back. Refund will only be issued on dry goods once they are received and inspected to ensure they were not used.

Shipping Cost:

USPS:

Shipping cost will not be refunded on any order. In the event you want to return an item that qualified for free shipping, the refund may be subject to a fee equivalent to its shipping cost of the order.

UPS:

UPS Shipping cost will not be refunded or reimbursed in ANY event once an order is shipped. This includes if the order is lost, stolen, incorrect address, or damaged.

If your original order used this service but a plant or item was damaged or delayed, and a replacement is needed, that item will be sent through regular USPS Priority shipping unless the customer pays for this additional shipping service for the new package.

If an entire order that used this shipping method is lost, stolen, damaged or otherwise undeliverable or usable, a replacement order will be sent through regular USPS priority mail. You may pay again to utilize this service for the new package.

USPS Express:

Express Shipping cost will not be refunded or reimbursed in ANY event once an order is shipped. This includes if the order is lost, stolen, incorrect address, or damaged.

If your original order used this service but a plant or item was damaged or delayed, and a replacement is needed, that item will be sent through regular USPS Priority shipping unless the customer pays for this additional shipping service for the new package.

Lost Package:

A package is considered lost only when it has been in transit for 14 days or more, we will ask you wait the full 14 days to do any of the following. 

In the event your package is missing for more then 2 weeks in the mail and never marked delivered, we will reship your order. If you do not wish to have the order reshipped you can either receive store credit for the full value or request a refund. However, 30% of your total will be charged as a fee and you will only receive a refund for 70% of the order total if you request a refund. 

Lost package claims must be submitted within 30 days of ship date.

Stolen Package:

In the event the your order is marked delivered and is missing and unable to be located, we will reship your entire order. If you do not wish to have the order reshipped you can either receive store credit for the full value or request a refund. However, 30% of your total will be charged as a fee and you will only receive a refund for 70% of the order total if you request a refund. 

PLEASE NOTE: If your order is reshipped and then goes missing again we will not refund or reship replacements at that time.

Wrong or Incorrect Address:

  • The customer is responsible for providing their complete and accurate shipping address. In the event a mistake took place and the order is sent to the wrong address please contact us asap. We will evaluate each situation on a case by case basis.
    • If a customer provides the wrong address or an incorrect address for their order and the order is delivered to the wrong address it is the customers responsibility to retrieve that package. In the event the package cannot be retrieved we reserve the right to not reship the order, refund, or replace any items at our discretion. We also reserve the right to charge for any additional costs associated with reshipping, refunding, or replacing any items at our discretion.
    • If a package is undeliverable because of an incorrect address and sent back to us we reserve the right to not reship the order, refund, or replace any items at our discretion. We also reserve the right to charge for any additional costs associated with reshipping, refunding, or replacing any items at our discretion.
