Blyxa 'Red'

Blyxa 'Red, also known as Blyxa novoguineensis, is a great plant that is unlike most aquatic plants. It forms an almost push like appearance and propagates via side shoot off of the main stem. Blyxa Red is very similar to the more common Blyxa Japonica with the exception of the red coloring rather than green. While this plant isn't beginner friendly, it can be easy to keep with proper lighting and fertilizer.
