Red melon sword is a great sword plant for those that are looking to add some color. It grows at a decent pace and does like a bit more light then typical swords. Of course in higher light the colors will really come out but even under low light it will maintain some of its coloration. Just like other swords it will do well either in a nutrient rich substrate or use root tabs to give it some nutrients at its roots.
