Italian Val

Italian Val is a popular aquarium plant known for its fast growth and easy care, making it a great choice for aquarists of all experience levels. Its long, ribbon-like green leaves create a lush background and can quickly fill in empty areas of an aquarium.

Italian Val requires minimal maintenance, although regular trimming may be needed to keep it from taking over the tank. It spreads through runners, allowing new plants to naturally fill in the surrounding area.

Planting Italian Val

Plant the roots into the substrate while keeping the crown of the plant above the substrate. Once established, Italian Val will send out runners that develop into new plants and gradually create a dense background.
