Dwarf Four Leaf Clover is an extremely easy carpeting aquatic plant. Dwarf Four Leaf Clover is a very small aquarium plant making it perfect for both nano tanks and larger tanks. Dwarf Four Leaf Clover produces leaf stalks with 3-4 small leaves on top. It grows by producing horizontal runners beneath the substrate. To propagate its best to cut the runners and relocate to where you want in the tank. Dwarf Four Leaf Clover does not need co2 to grow but if you want to speed up its growth it will certainly help.
You'll be getting a plant that only has been partially transitioned from its immersed to submerged growth. When you get this plant, the bigger leaves may be browning, this is fine as those are the old leaves and will die back anyway. New leaves will be a lot shorter than what it first looks like when you first receive it. If you want the leaves to grow even shorter, more powerful light is recommended.
We will notify you when this product becomes available.
Our Cryptocoryne Wendtii (red, brown, green, bronze) is ordered from our nursery who grows them emersed. Due to how slow Cryptocoryne Wendtii grows, we sell them once we see 2 submerged leaves on the plant. This means that however many emersed leaves are left will probably melt after a few weeks in your tank. With the new submerged growth, the Wendtii should be fine.
CryptocoryneWendtii is a great beginner plant because it does not need a whole lot to thrive. The Crypt Wendtii Red variation needs a little morethanlow light to grow to its fullest potential. Depending on the lighting, either the leaves will grow tall towards the light or more horizontal. Cryptocoryne Wendtii can bepropagatedby uprooting the whole plant and plucking baby plants from the side of the main root.

Water Sprite Lace | Indian Fern | Best Plant For Breeding Fish

We will notify you when this product becomes available.
Water Sprite Lace Indian Fern is avariationof regular Water Sprite. Water Sprite Lace's leaves are narrower and look like lace. Next to Water Wisteria, this would be the next easiest plant to grow in your tank. Water Sprite Lace can become a plant like a sword with many stems coming from a central location. However, most people float this plant in their aquarium because it is difficult to keep rooted sometimes.
Water Sprite Lace will grow in just about any tank, but with decent light, and a little co2, it will take over. It is an excellent source to absorb Nitrates from fish waste out of the water. Water Sprite Lace also is great for fry to hide in. Water Sprite Lace will propagate similar to Java Fern where it will send out baby Water Sprite from its leaves. You can either let it float or put the stem in the substrate and wait for baby plants to emerge from the leaves. You will have so much you won't know what to do with it all!
Please note: Often, this plant may have some browning leaves on it. We normally would remove these, but they usually produce baby plants. We like to leave them on, so you get extra plants. You can remove the browning leaves and toss if you would like.

A great easy lotus plant. Do not bury the bulb, only the roots. This plant is a hog though it will absorb a lot of nutrients so be careful and make sure you are dosing fertilizer so the other plants will have that available to them. It will send up new leaves that will get taller and taller each time a new one pops up, until eventually reaching the surface. Once it reaches the surface there is a possibility it will sprout a flower. If you don't want the lilies to float on the surface trim the tallest leaves off to encourage more compact growth.

Java Fern is the most beginner friendly plant you can find. Java Ferns have been in the aquarium hobby pretty much from the beginning. Java Ferns are extremely hard to kill and should be able to survive in most conditions. Java Ferns have long finger like leaves. The leaves grow from the rhizome at the base of the plant. Java ferns have a unique characteristic then most plants, and that's the way that the plant reproduces. Java Fern leaves will usually have these orange or black dots running up the plant leaf typically in pairs. These dots will produce new baby plants on the leaf over time. Its best to leave them attached until they come off on their own or the mother leaf dies back, which is normal once its full of babies.
When planting the Java Fern, do not bury the rhizome in your substrate. Only bury the roots, attach it to driftwood, or attach to rocks.
Care Level:Easy
Lighting Requirement: Low
Co2:Not Needed
Growth Rate: Medium
Origin: Indonesia
Tank Placement: Midground to Background
Tank Size: Java Ferns can get large over time. If you have a small nano aquarium get the potted plants as they are typically smaller than the mats. Mats are great for 10 or-more gallon tanks.

A staple in any beginner tank. This plant is just like regular jungle val except I find it to be alot better looking and hardier. This plant is a very easy and hardy plant that can go in almost any type of tank. The leaves of this plant can get upwards of 6' long so its good for any tank especially big ones. It will shot out runners along the substrate which you can trim off and replant else where in the tank. One thing to note when you get it in your tank most of the older leaves will melt, this is normal. Look to see if there is new growth coming up within a few days that is a sign the plants going to be ok.

Marimo Moss Ball is a very easy aquarium plant. Even though its called a Marimo Moss Ball its not actually moss at all, it's a form of algae. Don't worry though it isn't a problem algae like other types we see in the tanks from time to time. It grows into a round spherical ball naturally and has a very soft texture. It can grow quite large over time so propagating is a good idea once it reaches a large size. You can propagate it easily just split it in half and roll it around in your hands a bit to form a new ball. This can be done several times to form many new plant. Its an excellent plant to filter your water of excess nutrients or nitrates produced from fish waste.
Another use for the Marimo Moss Ball is putting in a vase in a sunny window to make it a nice decoration in any room.

Dwarf Water Lettuce is a super easy floating aquatic plant for any fish tank.
Dwarf Water Lettuce is great at providing some shade for your slow growing plants and fish. The roots will provide an excellent hiding place for baby fish or shrimp. If your aquarium has little flow, the size will get to be slightly bigger than a quarter.

We can NOT guarantee this plant will arrive in the best condition. We still want to offer it to our customers as many people seek out this plant.

Introducing Vital tabs! You have been asking for them and they are finally here. If you're unfamiliar with root tabs and why they are important most plants eat through their roots! (Duh right?) If they happen to be a plant like a sword or crypts they primarily only get their nutrients from their roots. Most plants will take advantage of the root tab nutrients even if they aren't a sword or crypt.
Vital tabs are a mix of mineralized top soil and a clay formula. It's like injecting dirt directly into your tank. If you didn't know dirt is hands down the best way to grow plants in the aquarium! So if you have a sand or gravel substrate this is perfect for you as they don't have nutrients to begin with. If you have a plant specific substrate this is still great because it adds extra nutrients to the substrate that may have already been used.
Tab Break Down:
75% Mineralized Top Soil 25% EI+Clay formula(16 parts Red Clay, 8 parts CSM+B, 2 parts Potassium Sulfate, 2 parts Magnesium Sulfate, 0.5 part Potassium Nitrate)
Instructions:
Push to the bottom of your substrate either with tweezers or fingers. The gel capsule will dissolve after a few minutes of being wet and all the contents will be securely beneath the substrate. Do not put directly under plants! Spread out at least 1" away from the base of the plants. Each root tab will cover a 5"x5" square. Replace root tabs every 2-3 months or as needed. (Always start off with less in the beginning.)

This will allow bothcuttingsto keep growing.
Much like other Anubias, Anubias Nana can be easily attached to driftwood or rocks. You can also plant Anubias Nana, however, make sure the horizontal rhizome or stem is above the substrate. It can also be easily propagated by cutting the rhizome into smaller sections. We recommend leaving 2-3 leaves per section.
